Umpire Services
EL1 Umpire Performance is a modern approach to umpire training on every level. Our in house program utilizes a small group, mixed level approach allowing umpires from different levels to collaborate and share experiences. Sessions will all be lead by one of our “Crew Chiefs”, all who have been hand selected based upon their experience and accolades at the NCAA or Professional Level.

Our introductory program designed for umpires with 0-1 year experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of the game including basic rules, positions, signals and more.
Rookie
Umpire Performance
Our 7 session, (Rookie) level programming focuses on youth leagues where umpires will learn the optimal positions for plays in the 2 umpire system. Students will learn the fundamentals of force plays, tag plays, basic rule knowledge and have an introduction to calling balls and strikes at the youth level.

AA
Umpire Performance
Our 8 session, (AA) level programming focuses on High School and Travel level umpires. They will learn the optimal positions for plays in the 2 umpire system. Students will also learn the flaws of the system and learn how to optimize accuracy within the 2 umpire system. Strike zone training will focus on advanced tracking and timing while learning how to call an age appropriate Strike Zone.

AAA
Umpire Performance
Our 10 session, (AAA) level programming focuses on Travel/HS Showcase and NAIA umpires. They will learn the optimal positions for plays in the 2 and 3 umpire system. Students will break down techniques on how to optimize “The Wedge” and carry that over to other parts of the 3 umpire system. Strike Zone training will consist of recognizing the “buffer zone” and how to call strikes within it.

The Show
Umpire Performance
Our 10 session, (The Show) level programming focuses on current and prospective NCAA Umpires. They will learn the optimal positions for plays in the 2 and 3 and 4 umpire system. Students will break down techniques on how to optimize “The Wedge” and carry that over to other parts of the 3 and 4 umpire system. Strike Zone training will consist of data tracking seeking out weaknesses and holes in the zone.

Mobile Camps
Invite us to your next Umpire Camp or Clinic. Our instructors will help supplement your camp with our technology and data tracking techniques. This data will then be analyzed with reports for students and instructors. We will also utilize video to provide game film feedback to individual umpires and groups.
